I think that I been cabbing for whole 2 months. Traveling from SengKang to home, after late night production end and supper at Jalan Kayu our favourite roti prata store. No public transport that I could take home from Jalan Kayu other than taxi. Price from Jalan Kayu to home is $22.40 each ride and yesterday my ride is cheaper by $2. Reason the uncle didn't take the normal route to Queenstowns from Jalan Kayu. Normally, the uncle taxi driver would go by PIE then Bukit Timah exit, Farrer Road then Queenstowns and finally Strathmore Avenue. Yesterday ride was, PIE then Cairnhill exit, Scotts Road, Grange Road then Tanglin Halt then Strathmore Avenue. The ride cost me $20.70.
Cabbing from home to school cost me around $22.90 plus surcharge. The ride took me about 20 minutes plus to get to school when I'm carrying equipment to school or I'm late for lesson. Other than I would cab to school from house if I'm late for FYP meetings and the ride cost me $14 without surcharge.
Cabbing from house to Harbourfront in the morning would cost me $6.50 without surcharge. And it's reasonable price if I were to cab from home to Orchard. Send mommy to Harbourfront to board Aeroline home to KL. Took cab to and fro.
I think if I save up all my cabbing money, I could buy another Adidas shoe but too bad I can't avoid it.. After FYP I shall not cab to anywhere unless I needed or when I go club. I would want to spend it on shopping or drinks.... Money to travel and new tattoo plus phone.. Oh god...
