What do you think you have learnt from today's DMA problem?
I think that I have learnt from today’s DMA problem would be we could remake an old movie or bad movie to a better one by using technology combine with art. For example, Harry Potter storybook being brought to movie by one of the Director at London. They use virtual reality to attract audience to watch the movie, sound effect to make the movie more interesting, lighting to enhance the atmosphere of the movie and bring out the mood of the scene to the audience, usage of different backdrops to brings out what the story trying to reach out for the audience. By using 3-D to make the movie more realistic and interesting by making the scene of the movie or the effect that being create better. Colors to catch the audience attention and blend with the scenario of the movie.
Some people thinks that the usage of technology and media have the pros and cons, the pros are it makes the movie more interesting, special effects can be created to make the movie realistic, there’s flow of the story in the movie rather than in the past where some of the movie doesn’t have flow in the story. Lighting being use to create the mood of the scenario so does to make the character more interesting and we can add gel or colors on the lights to create certain atmosphere of the story trying to reach out for the audience.
Cons of the usage of technology and media are technology and media do have their limitation on certain movies. Sometimes, technology won’t be able to get the effect that we want and sometimes we can get what we want or over of what we want in the movie. There are people who prefer books over movie because movies are just a summarize story from the book and it wasn’t a complete story of the book. Where book is are different from the movie because story book is much more complete in the sense of the storyboarding. In storybook, you can see the flow of the story, it have climax and suspense to the audience where by the movie, it also have its own suspends and climax sometimes before it reaches climax, it already showing the suspense part and it different from book because in storybook, it always climax before suspense.
