My Cognitive Lesson RJ which is freaking long lor!!!!!
Analyze the reasons behind your current GPA score/grade for G101. What do you think you could have done to get a better grade? What is the most important or useful skill/technique/lesson you learned from G101/102 that you can apply to the rest of your RP life and beyond? The reason behind my GPA score/grade for G101 are the facilitators is one of my problem that I don’t get good grade for G101, the facilitators never explains the problem clearly for us and she treats us a secondary school kids and ask us to do all the secondary school student did which is we need to do our PDT. We must clearly states that what we really don’t know and need to find out. She even stated that during presentation, we mustn’t look at another laptop and requires us to speak more and ask more questions. It’s totally unreasonable for us as she doesn’t explain the problem and told us what we really need to find out and she also makes things difficult for us. This had given me an impression that this module is very difficult and it requires us to explore things beyond our boundaries. Second would be the 6th presentation wasn’t explains clearly for us and she doesn’t even had the mood to explains it to us. She just wants to end the class early as she also wants to leave early. Before UT, she doesn’t even tell us which problem we really need to concentrate on and which doesn’t. Third would be I didn’t really read the 6th presentation as I just briefly look at it and doesn’t really pay attention what the 6th presentation really about.
I think that I could have done to get a better grade would be concentrate on the 6th presentation as its what the problem really about and how the problem relates in our daily lives. Listens to what the facilitator explanation as it helps us to understand the problem more clearly and it can also helps us to think about our reflection journal. Understand the problem clearly because if I don’t understand the problem clearly, I won’t know what to and in the end of the lesson, I might not have understand a single thing of the problem. We need to think out of the box which is do things that the facilitators doesn’t expects us to do and do beyond what the facilitators requires. This means that we have understood the problem and we do things that over the bars that being set by the problems or the facilitators. I could get good grades would be presentation skills; the way we present the slides do affects our daily grades too. Because it helps the facilitators to see whether we understood the problem or not and test on our verbal skills.
The most important or useful skill/technique/lesson you learned from 102 that you can apply to the rest of your RP life and beyond would be we need to think out of the box because in the reality world, it requires us to think beyond the boundaries if we want to survive in the society. If we don’t think out of the box, we will lack of customers and outdated. Society nowadays requires us to think out of the box and G102 had teaches us on how to look things holistically and atomism. The problem base learning actually helps us on how to solve the problem that requires us to do in the society because in the society, we will be given a problem to solve and it had deadlines; we need to make sure that we will be able to hand in the presentation and how are we going to present it to our clients.
