Here's my stupid RJ for Yesterday,

How has your understanding of cultural change affected the way you view your lifestyle? How would you live your life in 2020?

My understanding of cultural change affected the way I view my lifestyle. In the past, during 90’s it just beginning to introduce computers. It’s like a sickness, when you saw your friend have one desktop, you also feel like having one. So my father asks my cousin’s husband who works as a computer engineers help us buy one. That time, everyone was using window 98 where’s I use window 95 as I don’t know which is the better one. I also doesn’t know use which virus protection and the computer sometimes contracted virus because play games too frequently. Now I know how to protect my laptop from virus and spy wares as there’s free spy wares protection by the school. Now I which windows are best and which aren’t? Which laptop brand are the best and worst?

In the past, the people goes to religious school for the Muslims people who lives in the village and the Chinese people goes to Chinese school and the Indians goes to Indian school where’s the Eurasian goes to English school or other religion people wants their children to study English, they will send them to English school. In the past, there’s a lot of people who can’t afford studies to their child, they will home school them with the knowledge they have. Now even though there’s people who can’t afford to send their kids to school for studies, there’s subsides by the government or the Welfare for poor people. It wasn’t the kid doesn’t want to study is they don’t have the chance to study because their parents are too poor to afford their studies. Plus the government keeps on increasing the school fees one year after another; it makes the poor people poorer. The government doesn’t think about the citizen, only think of themselves and the country it’s not fair for the poor people. In the past, people think that education wasn’t important where certificate is nowadays and diplomas or degree are important, if you don’t have one. It will be difficult for you to find job.

I am influence by many cultures. The Local Chinese culture and China Chinese culture has taught me a lot of things. Local Chinese can be fussy and arrogant. The China Chinese are separated into two different types, East and West. East side is harder t handle for the Chinese here, because they are rich and they want everything effective. The Chinese on the West are more gentle, friendly and mellow. In general, Chinese loved respect. That’s why words used can be harsh but not uncivilized in some manner, they will say 'You have a better place somewhere else' when they fire you, then to say 'you’re fired'. They show us that there are better ways to do things. There are better ways to handle rejection and other forms of unhappy events or doing. However, different places of China, people show respect in many different ways. In Beijing, people will treat you with food, the more you eat, the more they will add to your plate, and the more they show they respect you. If you don't eat those, they will think that they don't like you. In one way, they show something like that, but in another way, they are showing off, telling people that they can afford all the expensive things.

And if the other ethics can’t work together, they will be facing problems like Indians and Chinese cannot work together because Chinese's idea is to earn money, maybe it’s because of its poor lifestyle in the past, that’s why people have been dream of being rich for so long. Indians wants to save every bit, and does not want to be taken advantage of. They do not want to spend much. They cannot really do business together. Both have that pull factor for money and no push factors for it. If they can give in to each other, I see there will be less time spends on talks and haggling’s. And if time is money, both parties would have saved a lot. If everyone can give in, we can see a better future.
In 2020, I think the world will be more civilized as the technology getting more advance and more Westernize world. As people travel from one place to another and experience different cultures, they would have gathered many ideas. Ideas will be more evenly spread, and people will understand each other more. This result more peaceful and understanding world. With understanding, there will be less conflicts and war, Although, I cannot say for sure, I cannot predict what can happen. I see that I have a view and hope for a peaceful world, with smoother operations and lesser sufferings. For example, scientist trying to find new cure for sickness, they used technology to do the research and without technology the scientist can’t do any research. Education systems also will change; future generation won’t need to study what their older generation had studied like history, mathematical, geography, literature and etc. They will be studying about engines and how to make an aircraft? When the world reach 2020, there won’t be anymore forest as they need to built skyscraper building for the people to stay so that they won’t suffer from ice age as there’s prediction that the world will be having another round of ice age time.

Thanks to this FREAKING STUPID RJ, I sat in front of the laptop and stared at the question for 4 hours as I don't know what to write. Thanks to YanLin, I manage to do the first paragraph of the RJ but the other part I wasn't sure about it. So I ask my friend to help me do the RJ. She's so good larh, help me do the RJ. When I finish everything, it was already 1am keep my lappie and went to sleep. DAMN tired larh yesterday.
