Let me share a story with you. On September 5th 1987 which is 19 years ago, there’s a family of 5 people was waiting for the arrival of a baby boy but to their disappointment it was a baby girl. For the first five years for the little been a happy times as daddy was always around her, buy toys for her and pamper her with his loves also loves from mommy and sister. When the little girl was 4 years old, her mummy gets pregnant and she felt out of love from her mommy. Whenever she saw her sister or anyone who touches her mommy tummy, she will get jealous and when mommy asks her to talk with the baby, she will knock the baby in her mommy tummy’s with her head. Then daddy scolds her and told her that she shouldn’t do that. When she was 5 years old, mommy gives birth to baby sister, the more she felt her love from mommy is lesser as there’s new baby in the family. Moving from sleeping with mommy, she shares room with her 2nd sister. When she was 7 years old, she was playing with her sister in the living room, she uses the rubbish bag to cover her little sis who is only 2 years old and let her walk nears the stairs and see her little sister fall down the stairs. At that time, daddy wasn’t in Malaysia anymore or in the house, he was working overseas as there’s another burden in the family. He only returns home 2 weeks to 3 weeks that’s only his travel between Singapore, Sabah and Sarawak. When the little was going to primary 1, daddy wasn’t there to send her to school; daddy was working overseas at China. So every time she sees other children goes to school with parent or daddy come and fetch them home or daddy come and collect their child report card on parents meeting with teacher, her daddy won’t be there, only mommy or sister who are coming to collect for her.
When she reaches her teenage youth, daddy wasn’t there to sees her grow up as daddy always overseas and once or twice a year only he comes back. The little girl began to feel that she doesn’t need daddy anymore as it was mommy who raises her up throughout entire growing up progress. It was mommy who is always there for her, when she needs daddy, he wasn’t there for her. When it was her birthday, daddy didn’t wish nor buy birthday gift for her as daddy already forgets about her birthday. Whenever her birthday was coming, she always wishes that daddy would at least bought a birthday gift or cake for her and when it was her 14th birthday, daddy brings her to theme park and at night, he bought a cake and celebrate with her as that’s what she hopes to celebrate with her family but to her worst nightmare, her wishes didn’t come true as daddy wants her to celebrate her birthday with cousin, nieces, uncles, aunties, nephews and grandma. When she was 18 years old, her worst nightmare appear. Her daddy was having an affair with his secretary and it was her sister who hires people and uncle who is staying at Hong Kong who breaks the news to her when it was before her 2nd sister wedding night. When she heard bout her daddy having affairs outside, she wasn’t sure that she was able to take it as the day after her sister wedding; she will be having her SPM exam which is equivalent to O level here. She felt her whole world is collapsing as her all time daddy was cheating her mommy. She felt betray and she doesn’t know how to tell her mommy. Her elder sister told her not to tell her mommy. Beginning of this year, her elder sister finally tells mommy and mommy cried. Mommy even thought of divorcing with daddy but she doesn’t know how to say it out. Mommy has thought of divorcing daddy long time ago, but she doesn’t dare to as her 3 daughter is still young even though her eldest and second daughter already married. And she knows that daddy also scared to confess to mommy, that’s why daddy didn’t tell mommy. She right now is very angry with her daddy and she vows that no matter what happen in the future to her daddy, she doesn’t care what happen to her daddy. For her daddy trying to payback the time he doesn’t spend with her, daddy is sending her money and letting her study any course that she likes. He doesn’t even dare to scold her as he has to remember that he doesn’t raise me up since I was small and he don’t even try to hurt my mommy. He will regrets it if he did that and the little girl was ME.
